About Natural Gas

Natural Gas has been opening the market for being a cleaner, cheaper, safer and sustainable fuel.
Natural Gas:
  • Is a natural energetic. (fossil fuel).
  • It is mainly 90% methane (CH4).
  • It does not require a transformation process for its use.
  • It has a constant delivery trough pipe lines into homes, businesses, industry and natural gas stations.
  • It is not corrosive.
  • It has no additives
  • It is not toxic.
  • The other 10% is composed by ethane, propane, nitrogen and carbon dioxide.
  • Methane gas (CH4) is the simplest gas that exists in nature.
  • Natural Gas is lighter tan air which makes it safer because the dissipations are quicker.
  • The emissions given by Natural Gas are also lighter than air which makes them dissipate faster.

About Vehicular Natural Gas (NGV)

  • The NGV is the same type of natural gas used in the industry, business and homes.
  • Special cylinders are used to store NGV in a 100% gas state.
  • NGV decreases operational and maintenance costs in forklifts and vehicles.

NOM-011-SECRE-2000 (Mexico)

Minimum security requirements on converted vehicles:
  • All the equipment should abide the security and quality procedures given by the producer.
  • Conversion can be made on carburetor or fuel injection vehicles. And can use gasoline and natural gas (dual conversions)
  • Cylinders and other components should be secured into the vehicle.

Vehicle conversion to CNG.

To convert a vehicle to CNG or NGV and guarantee up to a 30% reduction in relation to other fuels like gasoline or diesel, it is necessary to get acquainted with the equipment that will be installed in your vehicle by authorized shops.

  • Engine
  • Board
  • Trunk

  • CNG CYLINDER
Stores CNG. Manufactured of seamless steel they are prepared to operate with pressure levels ranging from 200 kgf/cm² to 250 kgf/cm².
  • CYLINDER VALVE
Installed at the cylinder gas outlet. Has safety devices for over pressure and quick closing.
  • CONNECTION TUBES
Hard high pressure tubes connect the CNG cylinder to the engine.
  • PRESSURE REGULATOR
It regulates pressure of CNG to the engine and has different regulating stages. Through these stages the cylinder pressure, varying according to consumption, is regulated to a steady and unique pressure for the operation of the engine.
  • DISPLAY LEVEL OF COMBUSTIBLE SELECTION INDICATOR
Operates combustible changes electrically from the interior of the vehicle. Indicates CNG level available in the storage cylinder of the vehicle.
  • FILLING VALVE
Multi-valve with quick closing supply device, that keeps CNG stored in the cylinder. Through this valve the vehicle is refueled with CNG.
  • PRESSURE GAUGE
It is a pressure indicator installed between the supply valve and pressure regulator to permanently measure and show cylinder CNG pressure. The amount of gas in the cylinder is in close relation to pressure, therefore the pressure gauge sends a signal and indicates on the panel the amount of CNG available.
